  16     jackpanel is a control and monitoring application for the JACK
  17     audio server (http://jackaudio.org). It is based on GTK+/GConf/Cairo
  18     and it emphasizes simplicity, pro-audio look and feel
  19     and good GNOME integration.
  20     It comes in two flavors:
  21         1. a stand-alone application (/usr/bin/jackpanel)
  22         2. a GNOME panel applet which pops up the equivalent
  23            of 1. and monitors time / Xruns in the panel
