   5 The field of Computer Go is usually focused on direct improvements of computer playing programs.
   6 In contrast, very little attention is paid to the analysis of Go games with respect to the traditional Go knowledge such as playing style.

   8 In the paper, we have used several data-mining methods with the aim to explore the possibilities of capturing these notions programatically.
   9 We are not aware of any related work in this field so far, and from this point of view our work is completely novel.
  10 We focus on laying down the baseline methodology and foundations for future applications.

  12 The results show significant promise and allow many further experiments to be formulated.
  13 We believe that our work can be used for improvements in teaching of Go,
  14 analysis of performance and weaknesses of the current computer programs, or to help deepen the general understanding of the game of Go by humans.
