  30 *UPDATE (September 2020):* We are currently experimenting with lifting
  31 the freenode account registration requirement for =#org-mode=.  As of
  32 now, registering an account is /not/ required for joining the channel.

  44 don't be discouraged. Users come and go and watch the history.

  47 a question. Please ask directly what you would like to discuss, and
  48 wait for a reply. You may wait quite some time so don't ask and quit
  49 five minutes later.
