2573 - Make Tor work using squid as your http proxy again -- squid

2661 - Implement "entry guards": automatically choose a handful of entry
2662 nodes and stick with them for all circuits. Only pick new guards
2663 when the ones you have are unsuitable, and if the old guards
2664 become suitable again, switch back. This will increase security
2665 dramatically against certain end-point attacks. The EntryNodes
2666 config option now provides some hints about which entry guards you
2667 want to use most; and StrictEntryNodes means to only use those.
2668 - New directory logic: download by descriptor digest, not by
2669 fingerprint. Caches try to download all listed digests from
2670 authorities; clients try to download "best" digests from caches.
2671 This avoids partitioning and isolating attacks better.
2672 - Make the "stable" router flag in network-status be the median of
2673 the uptimes of running valid servers, and make clients pay
2674 attention to the network-status flags. Thus the cutoff adapts
2675 to the stability of the network as a whole, making IRC, IM, etc
2676 connections more reliable.
2679 - Tor servers with dynamic IP addresses were needing to wait 18
2680 hours before they could start doing reachability testing using
2681 the new IP address and ports. This is because they were using
2682 the internal descriptor to learn what to test, yet they were only
2683 rebuilding the descriptor once they decided they were reachable.
2684 - Tor 0.1.1.9 and 0.1.1.10 had a serious bug that caused clients
2685 to download certain server descriptors, throw them away, and then
2686 fetch them again after 30 minutes. Now mirrors throw away these
2687 server descriptors so clients can't get them.
2688 - We were leaving duplicate connections to other ORs open for a week,
2689 rather than closing them once we detect a duplicate. This only
2690 really affected authdirservers, but it affected them a lot.
2691 - Spread the authdirservers' reachability testing over the entire
2692 testing interval, so we don't try to do 500 TLS's at once every
2696 - If the network is down, and we try to connect to a conn because
2697 we have a circuit in mind, and we timeout (30 seconds) because the
2698 network never answers, we were expiring the circuit, but we weren't
2699 obsoleting the connection or telling the entry_guards functions.
2700 - Some Tor servers process billions of cells per day. These statistics
