  73        standard names which may be  compiled  into  the  terminfo
  74        description, i.e., via the terminfo or termcap interfaces.
  75        Normally these names are  available  for  use,  since  the
  76        essential  decision  is made by using the <STRONG>-x</STRONG> option of <STRONG>tic</STRONG>

  78        disable  this  feature  to ensure compatibility with other
  79        implementations of curses.
