   8   Per poter comporre delle formule matematiche, si deve innanzitutto attivare
   9   la ``modalità matematica'' premendo il tasto <key|$> o inserendo
  10   un'equazione (utilizzando <apply|menu|Text|Mathematics|Equation>). In
  11   modalità matematica, si hanno a disposizione dei comandi specifici e delle
  12   combinazioni di tasti per scrivere simboli matematici e formule. Per
  13   esempio, il prefisso <key|H-> può essere utilizzato per scrivere le lettere
  14   greche (si ricordi che <key|H-> è equivalente a \ <key|F5>,
  15   <key|<expand|key-escape> <expand|key-escape> <expand|key-escape>> o

  18   L'editor agevola la scrittura di formule matematiche seguendo certe regole.
  19   Questa proprietà, che sarà ulteriormente sviluppata nelle versioni future,
  20   è utile quando si interagisce con un pacchetto di computer algebra.
  21   Attualmente, si deve, per esempio, scrivere esplicitamente il simbolo della
