   1 OpenADK - An embedded Linux construction kit

   4 This is a menu based buildsystem for your embedded Linux system.

   6 Before you can start you need to install some software:
   7 - gcc or clang
   8 - g++ or clang++
   9 - binutils
  10 - make
  11 - tar
  12 - gzip
  13 - perl
  14 - curl or wget
  15 - git
  16 - strings
  17 - c library headers
  18 - ncurses library and header
  19 - zlib library and header

  21 There is a check for the required versions of these software in advance, though.
  22 Most of the needed software for the build process to succeed will
  23 be compiled before the target build starts.

  25 Please use "make menuconfig" to choose your target architecture and
  26 embedded system and configure like you want to.

  28 Simply running 'make' will build the firmware for your embedded system. The
  29 buildsystem will download all sources, build the toolchain, the kernel and all
  30 applications.
