   4 This is a menu based buildsystem for your home made embedded Linux system.

   6 Before you can start you need to install some tools:
   7 - bash
   8 - gcc
   9 - binutils

  11 - GNU m4
  12 - GNU awk

  15 - patch
  16 - pkg-config
  17 - gzip
  18 - bzip2
  19 - wget

  26 There is a check for the required versions of these tools in advance, though.
  27 (to re-issue the checks, use "make prereq").

  29 Please use "make menuconfig" to choose your target architecture and
  30 embedded system and configure like you want to.

  32 Simply running 'make' will build the firmware for your embedded system.  The
  33 buildsystem will download all sources, build the toolchain, the kernel and all
  34 applications.

  36 To switch to another target configuration, simply run "make switch". This will
  37 backup your existing configuration and will start with an empty one.
