mail/tnef/DESCR

   1 TNEF is a program for unpacking MIME attachments of type
   2 "application/ms-tnef". This is a Microsoft only attachment.  Due to the
   3 proliferation of Microsoft Outlook and Exchange mail servers, more and
   4 more mail is encapsulated into this format.  The TNEF program allows
   5 one to unpack the attachments which were encapsulated into the TNEF
   6 attachment, thus alleviating the need to use Microsoft Outlook to view
   7 the attachment.
