  31 ttytype \- terminal device to default terminal type mapping
  32 .SH DESCRIPTION

  34 .I /etc/ttytype
  35 file associates
  36 .BR termcap (5)/ terminfo (5)
  37 terminal type names
  38 with tty lines.
  39 Each line consists of a terminal type, followed by
  40 whitespace, followed by a tty name (a device name without the
  41 .IR /dev/ ") prefix."
