   1         Building GNU MPFR as part of the TL tree

   4 This directory libs/mpfr/ uses a proxy Makefile.am to build the GNU MPFR
   5 library 'libmpfr' from the unmodified source tree in libs/mpfr/mpfr-x.y.z/,
   6 bypassing the original build system.

   8 As far as applicable, the tests in libs/mpfr/mpfr-x.y.z/configure have been
   9 translated into equivalent test in libs/mpfr/configure.ac.
