   9 <para>The thumbnail kioslave is used by &kde; for network transparent
  10 and persistent generation of thumbnails.</para>

  12 <para>The thumbnail kioslave uses plugins to generate the actual
  13 thumbnails.  You can enable viewing of these thumbnails from the
  14 <menuchoice><guimenu>View</guimenu>
  15 <guisubmenu>Preview</guisubmenu></menuchoice> submenu, available in
  16 &konqueror; in file manager mode.</para>

  18 <para>The thumbnail kioslave is not directly useful to a user, but if
  19 you are a developer, you can use it within your own applications to
  20 create file previews.</para>
