1552 shadow, netgroup, publickey, and alias databases. The `nsswitch.conf'
1553 file controls what services are used for each individual database. This
1554 works by loading shared libraries with names specified in `nsswitch.conf',

1556 relinking any program. Currently there are the file, db, and NIS based
1557 NSS services available.
1559 * The new functions `strtoq' and `strtouq' parse integer values from
1560 strings, like `strtol' and `strtoul', but they return `long long int' and
1561 `unsigned long long int' values, respectively (64-bit quantities).

2020 now the standard `qsort' function. The new algorithm can require a lot
2021 of temporary storage; so, the old sorting function is called when the
2022 required storage is not available.
2024 * The C library now includes Michael Glad's Ultra Fast Crypt, which
