4 Updates since v1.7.0

7 * Some commands (e.g. svn and http interfaces) that interactively ask
8 password can be told to use an external program given via GIT_ASKPASS.
10 * Color values given to "color.<cmd>.<slot>" configuration can now have
11 more than one attributes (e.g. "bold ul").
13 * "git apply --whitespace=fix" didn't work well when an early patch in
14 a patch series adds trailing blank lines and a later one depended on
15 such a block of blank lines at the end.
17 * "git am" learned "--keep-cr" option to handle inputs that are
18 mixture of changes to files with and without CRLF line endings.
20 * "git cvsimport" learned -R option to leave revision mapping between
21 CVS revisions and resulting git commits.
23 * "git for-each-ref" learned %(symref), %(symref:short) and %(flag)
