This free and open service provides the contents of the list in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet" class="urlextern" title="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet"  rel="nofollow">usenet</a> format. The benefit of this format is that you can use dedicated usenet readers to read and write to the lists. These readers are known for their ability to gracefully handle high traffic discussions. You&#039;ll have to provide following login data to the usenet reader:

Since the many geda terms like “schematic” and “pcb” are not very specific a general web search may be swamped by false hits. Two options to look in the archives only:
