   1 /mnt:  Mount point for a temporarily mounted filesystem.

   3   This directory is provided so that the system administrator may
   4 temporarily mount a filesystem as needed.  The content of this
   5 directory is a local issue and should not affect the manner in
   6 which any program is run.

   8   This directory must not be used by installation programs:
   9 a suitable temporary directory not in use by the system
  10 must be used instead.
