   9 Acknowledgements can now optionally expire. Multisite has been extended
  10 by an option to set a timespan when acknowledging problems. At the end
  11 of this timespan the acknowledgement is automatically removed and
  12 a log entry created in <tt>cmc.log</tt>. You can see an expiration in the
  13 details views about the comments of a host or service.

  15 Expiration of acknowledgements mean something like "This should be
  16 repaired within time X". In combination with periodic notifications
  17 these acknowledgements will in effect stop the notifications for the
  18 configured while.
