  16     BeagleBoard.org has once again been selected as a mentoring organization\r
  17     for Google Summer of Code!  This means it is time for students and potential\r
  18     mentors to check out\r

  21     &lt;/a&gt; to find out about the program in general and discover the other\r
  22     organizations participating in mentorship this year. Once familiar with the\r

  33     Google Group.&lt;/a&gt; Student project proposals will be accepted March 10-21\r
  34     and no late proposals will be accepted. The proposals likely to be accepted\r
  35     will be ones where the student has worked closely with mentors to craft it\r
  36     out in a way there is a mutally agreed liklihood of success as well as value\r

  40     Last year, BeagleBoard.org successfully mentored 5 projects including Userspace\r
  41     Arduino that brought sketches to Linux, brought Robot Operating System to\r
  42     new Linux distributions, improved upstream ADC IIO support, brought I2C\r
  43     support to Minix and enabled booting and flashing boards from Android phones. \r
