I give up on making the applescript work.  It'll still run and do its thing for the custom icons and such.... and attempt in vain to get Finder to accept proper positioning and hidden status of the status bar.

And then, once its done, {{{RightDS_Store}}} is copied over to the volume by make-diskimage.sh. It's just a .DS_Store copied from a volume in which I manually got everything looking right. Ghetto.. but the results are pretty. Fixes #5893
