TOGBrush2 is a set of classes and programs for Java >= 1.4 for drawing pictures with the help of a depth buffer.

At the core is ZImage class which can blit other ZImages onto itself and serialize/deserialize instances to/from PNG-based files.

TOGBrush2 also includes:

• Several classes for procedural generation and rendering of simple objects
• An 'Engine' class and several AWT components that can automate redrawing of changed regions of a scene. The engine can keep track of sprites moving throughout a scene.
• Classes for resource management.
• A demo infinite-canvas paint program, built on the above.
• A tcl/lisp-like scripting language intended to make scene creation easy.
• A bunch of experimental applications, including an applet for generating semi-realistic looking trees.
