   1 The package building files should be located in a
   2 directory called: samba-X.X.X

   4 Where X.X.X is the version ID.

   6 Step    Directions
   7 ====    ============================================
   8 1.      Copy the samba distribution tarball into the packaging directory
   9 2.      Make sure you have a installed on your system the GNU gzip/gunzip files
  10 3.      Edit "package-prep" script as required
  11 4.      Run "package-prep"

  13 If all goes well, you should now have a usable distribution package.
