   3 The Samba-Team are committed to an aggressive program to deliver quality
   4 controlled software to a well defined roadmap.

   6 The current Samba Beta series of Samba 3.0.0 is called the "Domain Integration"
   7 release.

   9 The following development objectives for future releases

  14 Samba-3.0.x             Refinments to the User and Group IDMAP facility and
  15                         general code stabilization work.

  17 Samba-3.x.x             Improvements in Management and Migration tools,
  18                         the introduction of further integration capabilities.

  20 Samba-4                 Danger Will Robinson, a big code clean up with major
  21                         system redesign. More will be announced as this work
  22                         starts to take shape.

  25 Note that it is a given that the Samba-Team will continue to track
  26 Windows (NT/200x) update releases, ensuring that Samba will work
  27 well with whatever "Beta" releases Redmond throws our way :-).

  29 You may also note that the release numbers get fuzzier the
  30 further into the future the objectives get. This is intentional
  31 as we cannot yet commit to exact timeframes.
