   3 The Samba-Team are committed to an aggressive program to deliver quality
   4 controlled software to a well defined roadmap.

   6 The current Samba series of Samba 3.0.0 is called the "Domain Integration"
   7 release.

   9 The following development objectives for future releases

  14 Samba-3.0.x             Improvements in Management and Migration tools, &
  15                         general code stabilization work.

  17 Samba-3.x.x             Requirements are currently under discussion.

  19 Samba-4                 Danger Will Robinson, a big code clean up with major
  20                         system redesign. More will be announced as this work
  21                         starts to take shape.

  24 Note that it is a given that the Samba-Team will continue to track
  25 Windows (NT/200x) update releases, ensuring that Samba will work
  26 well with whatever "Beta" releases Redmond throws our way :-).

  29 further into the future the objectives get. This is intentional
  30 as we cannot commit to exact timeframes.
