  10 1) Follow the samba installation instructions.

  12 2) If all goes well, test it out by creating a share on your PC (called
  13 backup for example) then doing something like,

  15   ./smbtar -s mypc -t /dev/rmt/0ubn -x backup

  17 substituting whatever your tape drive is for the -t option, or set your
  18 tape environmental variable.
