   1 Tools and makefile fragments necessary for compilation

   3 This module contains many tools and makefile configuration pieces,
   4 critical for building LibreOffice:

   6 bin/
   7         contains lots of tools used during the build:

   9         concat-deps*
  10                 these aggregate, and remove duplicates from module
  11                 dependencies, to accelerate build times.

  13         make_installer.pl
  14                 this script executes the compiled instructions from
  15                 the scp2/ module to create an installer, and/or to
  16                 do a local install for the smoketest.

  18         linkoo
  19                 creates a forest of symlinks inside an install such
  20                 that a developer can re-compile in the source tree,
  21                 and re-run without re-installing (on Unix at least)

  24         the (shiny new) gnumake build makefile fragments we are
  25         migrating the codebase to use.

  28         lots of nice python helpers to make debugging -much- easier
  29         that (eg.) print UCS2 strings as UTF-8 on the console to
