   4 Glyph & Cog, LLC is pleased to announce a new version of Xpdf, the
   5 open source Portable Document Format (PDF) viewer for X.  The Xpdf
   6 project also includes a PDF text extractor, PDF-to-PostScript
   7 converter, and various other utilities.

   9 Xpdf runs under the X Window System on Unix, VMS, and OS/2.  The non-X
  10 components (pdftops, pdftotext, etc.) also run on Win32 systems and
  11 should run on pretty much any system with a decent C++ compiler.

  14 * Anti-aliased vector graphics, including stroke adjustment.
  15 * Support for PDF 1.6 and PDF 1.7, including AES decryption and
  16   OpenType fonts.
  17 * User-configurable key/mouse bindings.
  18 * Improved full-screen mode, with the ability to toggle on the fly.
