This is a merge of the 'premium' sis driver updated to build on X server 1.12. Should work on Debian Lenny/Squeeze/Wheezy. Should work on D201GLY2 for which the X org SiS driver which is loaded by default causes picture artifacts - probably from bad timing somewhere.

Need to specify virtual in xorg.conf. Need to set acceleration to XAA when it defaults to EXA. Need to select driver manually - it is not autodetected.

problems

EXA crashes (probably works with X org sis driver)
DDC does not work properly - virtual is not inferred and has to be set in config
compared to vesa this driver appears to render slow - may need some benchmarking to confirm
most post-pciaccess patches are not included
driver is not autodetected - needs to be specified in xorg.conf
