   3 The scripts are alpha, but I use them on daily basis. It's just they aren't
   4 usable by anyone uncomfortable with command line. I only publish them to
   5 attract other people to discuss, test or co-develop.

   7 Examples of what I eventually want riffle scripts to do:

   9 Subscribe to feeds with enclosures (netcasts, podcasts, whatever you wanna
  10 call them).

  12 Download the episodes, remove irrelevant according to expiration rules: remove
  13 old news and ridiculous amounts of talkshows you don't care to catch up on,
  14 keep every episode of a book.

  16 Order remaing episodes according to sort rules: Scott Sigler always goes to
  17 the start of the playlist, inside a feed episodes are ordered chronologically,
  18 in a playlist different feeds and different sorts of feeds (e.g. SF, tech,
  19 activism or books, news, talkshows or what not) are intermingled: this is what
  20 I mean by riffle.

  22 Sync episodes to a player, display the lists with some metadata - so user can
  23 more easily decide which episodes to delete. Let user override the automatic
  24 order if desired.
