kpackage/README

   1 Kpackage handles RPM, Debian and various other packages, it is used
   2 for displaying currently installed packages, uninstalling
   3 them and installing new ones.

   5 For kpackage to work correctly with RPM packages the RPM database
   6 must be initialised. If typing `rpm -qa' gives an error about
   7 `unable to open....` then try `rpm --rebuilddb'.
