This is a small project started by me, for my lab partner's and my course assignment of writing a small chat server and a chat client. The course we're taking is called "Data Communication and [the] Internet," translated directly from Swedish. We study at Umeå University in the North of Sweden.

The chatting experience when using our software will be IRC-like, with commands that start with '/'. It is text based and is written in Java.
