idi aims to easily handle many binary formats and many disassemblers
(of different quality / speed and for different architectures). Because of
that, it doesn't even bother to implement support for anything by itself,
it completely offloads the dark magic to something external. That completely
handles the binary stuff, idi just handles the interaction. And any feature
that has 'detection' or 'autodetection' in its description probably doesn't
belong to idi but to something one level below. :)
