   1 This directory level abstracts out the Linux Operating System dependent
   2 features of uClibc for supported Linux architectures/CPUs.  If you wanted to
   3 port uClibc to some new Linux architecture (arm, mips, etc), this is the place
   4 to add that support.

   6 All stuff that is not at all dependent on a particular Linux architecture
   7 goes in the 'common' directory. However, for new architectures which are
   8 using the generic syscalls in the Linux Kernel, the 'common-generic'
   9 directory should be used instead as they all use identical interfaces for
  10 the system calls.
