From e6696d3ee9b8a0632dd12b20081ebd21bb7b646d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Markus Armbruster Date: Thu, 28 Sep 2023 15:20:11 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] migration/rdma: Silence qemu_rdma_resolve_host() Functions that use an Error **errp parameter to return errors should not also report them to the user, because reporting is the caller's job. When the caller does, the error is reported twice. When it doesn't (because it recovered from the error), there is no error to report, i.e. the report is bogus. qemu_rdma_resolve_host() violates this principle: it calls error_report(). Clean this up: drop error_report().
