   1 This is the S-Lang library, version 2.0.5.  It has been radically
   2 stripped down to remove functions that are either unused by the Midnight
   3 Commander or already provided by the glib library.  The complete
   4 distribution can be downloaded from:

   8 The sources in this directory are only used if you don't have the S-Lang
   9 library installed on your system or if you request to use these sources
  10 by specifying the option `--with-screen=mcslang' to the `configure'
  11 script.
