Documentation: allow building language specific documentation.
Didn't work after mmref.tex was removed with commit 09fa7954c.
There is still an issue with PDF generation; one figure
(doc/info/figures/plotting1.{mac/png/pdf}) is missing, therefore
PDF generation (e.g. from the german manual) stops.
