test-lib.sh: convert $TEST_DIRECTORY to an absolute path
If $TEST_DIRECTORY is specified in the environment, convert the value
to an absolute path to ensure that it remains valid even when 'cd' is
used.

If $TEST_DIRECTORY is specified in the environment, convert the value
