  10 In some environments, Smart Ping can be confronted with esoteric link-layer
  11 header types and non-IPv4 packets.  This could lead to incorrectly reported
  12 Smart Pings, which are normally harmless, but confusing in the presence of
  13 logging. This has been fixed.
