Over het Nederlandstalige AltLinux woordafbreekpatronenbestand hyph_nl.dic:

Dit bestand met afbreekpatronen is afkomstig van Piet Tutelaer; bij hem berust 
ook het oorspronkelijke copyright. Het is door hem beschikbaar gesteld onder de 
GPL versie 2 licentie. 

Arthur Buijs heeft enkele kleine wijzigingen aangebracht om het geschikt te 
maken voor gebruik met de ALTLinux hyphenator.


Beknopte installatie-instructies:

1) Pak het bestand nl_NL.zip uit in (...)/share/dict/ooo, waarbij (...) staat voor 
   de directory waarin de OpenOffice.org software is geïnstalleerd.

2) Open, in diezelfde directory, het bestand dictionary.lst met een tekst editor, 
   (wordpad, vi, emacs, ...), en voeg er de volgende regels aan toe (let op 
   hoofdletters en kleine letters): 

   DICT nl NL nl_NL
   DICT nl BE nl_NL
   HYPH nl NL hyph_nl
   DICT nl NL med_NL
   DICT nl BE med_NL

3) Sla het bestand op, en herstart OpenOffice.org (niet alleen alle vensters
   ervan sluiten, maar indien van toepassing ook de quickstarter beëindigen). 

Voor OpenOffice.org 1.1 en hoger is dit alles. Voor eerdere versies van OpenOffice.org
moet u nog het volgende doen: 

4) Open menu Extra->Opties. Kies in de dialoog Taalinstellingen->Linguïstiek. 
   Klik op de eerste "Bewerken" knop. Kies in het uitklapveld iedere nieuwe taal
   waarvoor u een woordenlijst hebt geïnstalleerd, en vink daarbij het hokje voor 
   OpenOffice.org My Spell SpellChecker, en voor ALTLinux LibHnj Hyphenator aan.

5) klik op de Sluiten knop, en in het Opties venster op de OK knop.
