0da28978 kevind2001-05-21 00:28:09 +00002* -fstype core dumps on sparc-sun-sunos4.1.3_U1 with gcc-2.95.2
3This is on dbx does not work on compiled find.
4Perhaps gcc is installed incorrectly. "find / -fstype ufs" core dumps
5quickly. cc works correctly.
60f13a7f kevind2001-05-03 06:38:23 +00007* Speed of locate without "-i" option needs to be increased.

2d21bd29 kevind2000-04-12 10:12:56 +000014* man pages for frcode, bigram, and code
15Perhaps a better description in texi pages as well.
9642ad8b kevind2000-10-10 00:58:21 +000017* Add option for find to sort output in lexical order for use for updatedb (Olivier) made the following suggestion:
20As I was running thru the code looking for the bug I wondered why the updatedb
21has to use sort...
22why not add an option to find that sorts the output in lexical order?
23my point is:
24- sort on a big list is costly (here we do locate on big big file system)
25- find may (in theory) sort incrementally very easily by sorting only the current
26directory entries before recursion

9642ad8b kevind2000-10-10 00:58:21 +000032* investigate _LIBC when used with TOLOWER and TOUPPER
33_LIBC is used to determine whether TOLOWER should check isupper first.
34Is there something better to check? Alternatively, can tolower be
35checked at run time to determine whether isupper should be called first.
da56f375 kevind2000-10-10 07:06:57 +000037* BeOS problems with multibyte

41Use something close to the Debian daily cron job.
