build: added backward compatibility to automake 1.10
OpenIndiana current does not have automake 1.11. Implemented missing
macros to let the project build with automake 1.10.
The .gir autogeneration is still missing but this is not required for
building the project, it is needed only by make distcheck. Furthermore,
those .gir files are included in the source tarball.
