Height/length, weight, and blood pressure must be recorded in numerical
values only. i.e., alphabetic characters such as “lbs,” “kg,” or “cm”
would not be permitted to include as part of the value recorded. - See

We also proposed to add the alternative term “length” to go with
“height” as it is the clinically appropriate term for newborns and
assisted in clarifying the intent of the “vital signs” capability.” -
