   1 Configuring and installing QJackMMC / jackctlmmc:

   3 When installing a program from source, it's typical to run, "./configure; make; make install" and this program is no exception. A couple of notes though:

   5 - configure will use the standard prefix of "/usr/local" to install your program(s) icon, and .desktop file. Again, this is standard, but it's probably not what you want. The typical spot for a distribution's programs to go, is "/usr" not "/usr/local". If you want to install to "/usr" please pass it as a prefix to configure like this: ./configure --prefix='/usr'

   7 - QJackMMC and jackctlmmc are two sides of the same coin, and are both made and installed by default. But um, maybe you want a one-sided coin. If you just want the GUI program QJackMMC to be installed without jackctlmmc, pass '--enable-cli="no"' to configure. If you want jackctlmmc without QJackMMC, pass "--enable-gui="no"' to configure.

   9 - you can disable Lash support with: ./configure --enable-lash="no"
